111 participants from Gulni, Sikandra, Sheikhpura, Barbigha, Nawada and Rajauli Parishes along with several priests and animators actively participated in the Krusveer Rally held in the premises of St. Joseph’s High School, Nawada, on 14th October 2023. The theme for the Rally this year in Magadh Deanery was “Obey Your Parents”. Rev. Fr. Rakesh Roshan, the parish priest of Nawada hoisted the Krusveer flag in the presence of Fr. Dharam Khishor,the Chief Guest of the Rally, Fr. Anil from Sikandra parish, Fr. Bhagiya Raj from Gulni parish, Fr. Savari from Barbigha Parish, Fr. Ansalem, the coordinator of the deanery and Fr. Arul Jeyakumar, Krusveer Director, and followed by a colorful and prayerful march past by the children. In his inaugural speech, Fr. Rakesh Roshan exhorted the children to grow in love through small acts of care, kindness, and respect towards their parents, Church, Word of God and Jesus Christ. He further emphasized that the children, so gifted and talented, should strive to grow in “prayer & sociability”. Sr. Blessy the resource person of the program very creatively & humorously, instilled in the children the qualities of a good, devout Catholic Krusveer Children in the church, family, school and in the society by following life style of the little and young saints of the church. Sir. Sunil Kumar, the principal of My Chotta Play School, Harnaut, creatively and actively made all the children to enjoy and dance be happy through various action songs and activities. The attractions of the Rally were the different competitions like Qawwali, Acton songs, Street play and Speech on the theme of the Rally. On 14th October Fr. Dharam Khishor celebrated the Holy Mass for the children. In his homily, he invited the children to be active and enthusiastic members of Krusveer, Altar children Association as these can go a long way towards fostering vocations to Priesthood and Religious life and a faithful members in the family where love, mercy, compassion, service, and a strong love, respect, Obedience and unity can be seen and experienced and lived as the children of God. Soon After the competitions a cultural events were arranged by different parishes of the Deanery. Indeed it was well organized and well prepared. At the end of the Krusveer rally, the youth director Fr. Jeyakumar appreciated all the parish priests, dean, coordinator and the animators and sincerely thanked them for their commitment, support and selfless service to the children.
Everyone presented in the Rally congratulated Fr. Jeyakumar, the Krusveer Director for his tireless efforts in planning the Rally and for having conducted it successfully with the support of Nawada Parish core team – Fr. Rakesh Roshan, who very efficiently organized & managed all the necessary arrangements. Eventually all were severed tea and Snacks and all the children left the place very joyfully.
